How much does your managed support services cost?
This largely depends on the number of hours I anticipate the support project to last, and the type of support services needed. Some support services, such as copywriting, creative design, and marketing strategy, have an hourly charge ($40-$50/hour). Other services, such as web hosting and CRM email campaign management, are based on a flat-fee. If you are seeking to stay within the frames of a specific budget, it helps me to know what your ideal price range is, so I can suggest a managed support service package that is just the right fit for your online business.
How long will it take for my managed support service project to be finished?
This can be variable depending on the amount of work needing to be done. When I first get an overview of your online business’ needs, I will come up with a time estimate for you. Please note though that this is only a time estimate, and not a guarantee. If any unforeseen issues come up, they may cause the managed support service project to take longer than originally anticipated.
Can I pay you with a check, or through PayPal?
Cash, credit cards, and PayPal are accepted. However, checks are not acceptable due to potential legal issues that may arise from one being bounced. All card and cash payments will be processed through PayPal’s invoicing system. Please note that if you choose to use cash, credit card, or PayPal, 50% of your total payment may be due upfront to cover third-party material and service fees. If for any reason you are unable to agree with this, we can lay out a payment plan with milestones so you can pay for parts of the managed support services project as they are completed.
Can I get a refund?
While I would love to be able to offer refunds, the nature of this business is a service – not a product. Due to this, refunds are not possible, as there is no means to return the work or third-party materials and services utilized, such as web hosting bandwidth. If you have an issue of any kind with the managed support services project, please contact me immediately! Time can absolutely be of the essence in getting issues resolved quickly, as well as reducing cost.
Can I end the managed support services contract?
.You are free to end the managed support services contract at any time! Likewise, I may also choose to end the contract if I find a client is being unusually unreasonable. I am happy to work with your high standards, struggles with time, or uncertainty. However, abuse such as name-calling, threats, profound profanity, sexual harassment, or any other behavior that is not within normal online business standards will not be tolerated.
Is there anything else I should know about managed support services contracts with you?
One more thing: some participation will be necessary on your part to get some managed support services projects completed, especially if they involve web design or other material specific to you and/or your online business. This may include summarized online business information, media such as video or images, online account access, or API keys. If you’re having any trouble coming up with any of this, I will be happy to provide technical support.
How can I be sure I'll like your work?
If provided samples are not enough to reassure you that my managed support services work will be up to your business standards, we can start with a small sample project at the cost of materials only, so you can try me before you make a large investment.
